I obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science and Music Technology at Keele University, Staffordshire, and graduated in July 2012. I have always wanted to pursue a career in software development and have tailored my studies to that end. I have developed software in multiple languages including C#, Java and C++, and have taken course modules in system lifecycles and development, as well as requirements, evaluation and professionalism. In one of my final year dissertations, I developed a C++ simulation following software design methodologies, including project planning and organisation. Developing this simulation demanded advanced problem solving and extensive troubleshooting, as well as vast amounts of data analysis and data interpretation. The project was aided by a supervisor, including weekly meetings that were all attended punctually, but also required self-motivation and organisation to complete successfully. In addition to the project explained above, I have developed multiple pieces of software including encryption algorithms in Java, game development in C++ and developed a functioning website.
