It’s been such a long time since I’ve worked in sales, it feels like only yesterday I was VP/Chief Customer Officer of a company that sold products that help people be their most authentic, inspiring selves. This was back in the late 80s when SVP/Chief Customer Officer at a company that was then known as The Clorox Company. I had a great time running the business and was very proud of the team I built. I totals 4 years, 5 months as VP Sales at The Clorox Company before being moved up to General Manager of Sales.So, my experience with sales goes back to around the early 90s and it was definitely a different time. Sales back then was more about creating value for customers and getting them to buy from us again and again. That was definitely a time of growth and expansion for the company. I learned a lot about customer service and how to guide customers to buy from us again.Now, with technology available to us, I understand better how to engage customers and keep them coming back for more. Creating value for customers is definitely a focus for me and I’m always looking to improve my skills and techniques. I think it’s essential to be able to engage customers that want to buy from you, not only now, but in the future as well.In my work experience, I’ve also Learnt a lot about how to help leaders be their most authentic, inspiring selves. I’ve helping leaders be their most authentic selves through my work as a Performance Coach. My goal is to help leaders develop the skills and techniques they need to be their most authentic selves, and help them to be more Inspired and Inspired TEAMS. I think it’s important for leaders to have the skills to be their most authentic selves and have a great team around them. I’m excited to continue helping leaders to be their most authentic selves through my work as Performance Coach, and through my role as a General Manager of Sales at The Clorox Company.
