After moving to Melbourne from the country to join the Victorian Institute of Sport for cricket, I attempted to play professionally until injury forced my retirement. Then focusing my attention to my business aspirations I have since been involved in several high growth digital ventures in varying roles from executive, to advisor and board member. As GM / Executive Director at CC Media, we were able to take the business from a start up through to acquisition by one of Australia’s premier media groups, APN News and Media. With a strong background in launching digital businesses, early stage capital raising, merger and acquisitions and executive level management, I spent the last 4 years since exiting CC Media assisting boards and investors of early-mid stage digital and technology businesses with their strategic planning and corporate development. This included successful exits with Cohort Global (50% sale to Oceania Capital Partners) and Shout for Good (100% Acquisition by ANZ Bank) as well as leading several successful capital raise processes for clients. On the back of several capital raises from prominent media, technology and banking investors in Australia, USA, UK and Hong Kong I'm now focused on my own venture as CEO and Co-Founder of Unlockd.
