Maryam Moghimi has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics-General Statistics from The University of Texas at Arlington. Moghimi worked at the University of Texas at Arlington from 2015 to 2019 as a research scientist and finally as an associate professor. She is currently a guest research scientist at Sharif University of Technology. Moghimi's education and professional background provide her with the skills necessary for a successful career in the field of mathematics and engineering. After studying at the University of Texas at Arlington, Moghimi worked as a research scientist at The University of Texas at Arlington where she completed her PhD in Industrial Engineering in 2015. From there, Moghimi moved to the University of Texas at Arlington as an associate professor and continued her research with the goal of developing mathematical models that can be used to solve engineering problems. In 2018, Moghimi was recognized with a national award from the American Mathematical Society (AMS) for her contributions to the field of mathematics and engineering. Moghimi's achievements have led her to the position of assistant professor at Sharif University of Technology, where she is currently a guest research scientist.
