💼 Past Experience

Born and raised in the Bay Area of San Francisco, Mary Francis is a product of the city’s inventive high-rise reservoirs and its entrepreneurial ethos. When she was just 19, Mary teamed up with her then-boyfriend to open their own coffee shop, which they quickly grew into a successful intuited enterprise. When Mary turned 27 and the date of her final college graduation coincided with the first anniversary of her first job at Levi Strauss & Co., she knew that this was her opportunity to take the plunge. There, she served as Customer Marketing Director and was soon able to see the fruits of her labor─a strong foundation that she would use to build her career at the likes of PepsiCo, Anheuser-Busch, and Eventbrite. During her time at each organization, Mary developed a deep understanding of how their companies functioned and formulated Strategies for improvement. In this way, she uncanny knack for insight-driven transformation was evident from the very beginning. In 2018, she joined Box as a Principal, working within the North American Talent Management (NTM) Practice. There, she continued to develop her skills in IPA and as an effective practitioner of change management, leader development, and employee engagement. With her global perspective and sense of empathy for her clients, she was able to help them achieve their objectives and grow their businesses. In sum, Mary has more than 10 years of experience in situations where critical success is achieved throughvisor-led transformation.

Mary Francis has a Bachelors from The University of Texas at Austin in Communication, a Master's from University of San Francisco in Psychology, as well as a Doctorate from University of San Francisco in Organizational Leadership. Mary Francis is currently a successful Executive Program Manager with the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she has been working since 2006.
