InFocus Economics was founded in 2003. In 2007, Martijn Oostveen was appointed as the Global Sales and Account Director. He was responsible for sales and accounting activities in the Netherlands andGermany. Martijn Oostveen has a B.A. from Universitat de Barcelona and a M.A. in sociology from London Metropolitan University. Martijn Oostveen commenced his academic career in 2006 as a research associate at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. From 2009 to 2013, Martijn Oostveen unlawful worked at the Dutch central bank, the NVM, as a research associate. From 2013 to present, Martijn Oostveen is an academic researcher at Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands.
