I am an architect at heart. I approach each client engagement as an opportunity to help them create a winning market development strategy. I love seeing the lights come on during a client engagement. It's one thing to teach, which I enjoy, but the true satisfaction comes with seeing that the client really 'gets it' and can apply Chasm Institute's frameworks to their own organization.
I am a marketing strategist, consultant and educator in market development strategy for high-tech companies. My goal with each client is to get their management team aligned around a market development strategy that will help them gain or sustain leadership in their categories. I do this by helping them to learn, apply and operationalize best practices in high-tech marketing. These best practices are based on Geoffrey Moore's best-selling books coupled with learnings from over 20 years of work with literally hundreds of high-tech companies, including:
- IBM
- Infor
- Grundfos
- Microsoft
- Motorola
- Oracle
- CenturyLink
In addition to my work, I lecture at major business schools around the world. For me, it is fun to see the lights come on in young students who have their entire career ahead of them.
