From July 2011 to August 2011 (2 months) Providence, Rhode Island AreaAlgebra I Teacher @ Taught an introductory Algebra I class weekly to students between the ages of nine and eleven. Where I dealt exclusively with a classroom of all young men, some with known attitude problems.
Also, created custom syllabus and homework/quiz schedule for the class. All while maintaining classroom order and provided extra help to students who needed it. I did this by maintaining a close relationship with the parents to ensure that students not only did their homework but that they were actively engaged in the work.
Furthermore, I organized extracurricular math competition for all math students in the school, designed to foster inter-scholastic cooperation and an interest in mathematics. From September 2010 to May 2011 (9 months) Graduate Assistant @ As Graduate Assistant in the Student Activities-Involvement and Leadership Office (S.A.I.L.)
