Maqsood Al-kabir has been involved in many environmental and human rights issues. He has a background in International Relations, Public Policy, and Organizational Development.He started his work experience as a human rights activist in 2004 when he worked as a market research coordinator for a local advocacy group in Bahrain. From 2006 to 2009, he was the Director of Grassroots Organizing for the Bahrain Student Federation. He then became a Public Relations specialist for a non-profit organization, World VoiceFilms.EU, from 2009 to 2013.
