💼 Past Experience

Manu Gopinath started his career with Hindustan Times in 1992. From 1992 to 1998 he worked as the Vice Editor cum Columnist of Indian Express. He then worked as the Editor-in-Chief of Hindustan Times from 1998 to 2002. He also served as a Member of the Editorial Committee at theTimes of India from 2002 to 2004. He then took a leave from the Times of India in 2004 to work with Bernstein Ajay Pramod Associates (BA) as the Vice President and Head of Research and Publication. He was then appointed as the President and Head of Research at Bernstein Ajay Pramod Associates in 2006. He held the same position from 2006 to 2007. He then took a leave from Infosys and served as the Chairman of Tata Sons till January 2014. From January 2014 to August 2017, he was the Chairman of Audit Committee and member of the Management Board at Tata Sons.Manu Gopinath has been a prolific writer and has authored many books and articles on accounting, public accounting, financial consulting, and business ethics. He has also delivered several hundred lectures and symposia on accounting, financial consulting, business ethics, and management. He has also been a President or a Member of the Board of Editors of Business Outlook and Business Ethics. He is also a Fellow of the Indian Statistical Institute.
