💼 Past Experience

When I joined Apple in 2010, I was the Data Engineer for Apple Online Sales and Services. I was responsible for building the first online sales and services data store, and also developed a number of algorithms and tools used to optimize online sales. I was also responsible for the engineering team responsible for developing the App Store and the App Store Data Engineering function. I built the team from scratch, and we got merged with the broader Apple product engineering organization. My team is responsible for the App Store Search, Personalization, TopCharts, and SearchAds, among others. I am also responsible for the pipelines that drive App Developer payouts, user privacy and compliance. I am currently the Founder and CEO of Engage3, and I have hired the best talent. I worked directly with the founders of the company, and the executive team to build one of the largest retail products and pricing data stores in the world. I also implemented several complex price optimization and product linking algorithms. I was co-lead engineer on the productaxis team at PayPal. I led the product analytics engineering team.I managed the App Store Data Engineering at Apple for three years from 2014 to 2017, working in San Francisco Bay Area. At Apple, I was responsible for the App Store and the Arcade Data Engineering, both of which are responsible for user experience and analytics. I also led the team responsible for the product pipelines that drive App Developer payouts, user privacy and compliance. I am currently the Founder and CEO of Engage3, and I have also hired the best talent. I have worked with the founders of the company and the executive team to build one of the largest retail products and pricing data stores in the world. I also developed several complex price optimization and product linking algorithms.

🎓 Education

Mahesh Molakalapalli has a B.S. in Computer Science from V.R.Siddartha College of Engineering, a M.S. in Computer Science from University of Houston, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from University of California, Santa Cruz. He has also completed a Data Mining, Statistical Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence training at University of California, Santa Cruz. Mahesh Molakalapalli has experience of working with various computer programs, including Python, R, MATLAB, and MATRIX. He has a good working knowledge of making decisions based on data, and is particularly skilled in using machine learning algorithms.
