In April of 2015, I was the opening speaker for Chattanooga's Code and Creativity series of talks. My presentation, "Coding Education and the Democratic Classroom," explored the relevance of authentic, project-based learning as a means of better preparing students for careers in computer science and a technologically de-centralized society.
