After completing her undergraduate studies, Vallecillo continued her education at Our Lady of Pilar High School, where she completed her education with a diploma in arts and humanities.While at GSU, Vallecillo worked as a teacher in the Political Science and History classes taught by Dr. Jennifer L. Ford. In addition to her teaching experience, Vallecillo has also worked as a multimedia artist for the GSU Arts Department, where she entertained students with her art projects.Since leaving Georgia State University, Vallecillo has taken several teaching positions in the Atlanta area.
