💼 Past Experience

Since Lynda Spargur began her education at Columbia College Hollywood in the Fall of 2007, she has had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions within the Entertainment industry. In her time at Columbia College Hollywood, Lynda has held a number of different positions in an effort to gain an understanding of the Film Festival and Production industry. As a Program Coordinator, Lynda has been responsible for the coordination of events at Columbia College Hollywood, including but not limited to the Colleague's watch party for the official film festival, coordinate the lodging and dining for the festival's participants, and help cater the festival's event programming. Additionally, Lynda has been responsible for helping to create and manage the equipment center, which serves as the hub for Columbia College Hollywood's film-making workshop & Contest.A current position within the Covid 19 Compliance Officer program at Columbia College Hollywood has allowed Lynda to gain a better understanding of the Covid 19 Anti-Fraud program and the steps that must be taken to ensure that campus events are compliant with the organization's guidelines. Additionally, the experience has allowed Lynda to participate in various internal Columbia College Hollywood office assessments, which have given her a better understanding of how the company functions and the expectations of its employees.Lynda is also experienced in the Entertainment industry as a Film Festival Coordinator. During her time as a festival coordinator, Lynda has been responsible for coordinating screenings of local and international films at various theaters throughout the city of Los Angeles. Additionally, Lynda has been responsible for helping to create and manage the festival's programming, with a primary focus on ensuring that allfilm fans have a chance to attend screenings and enjoy the artistry of the cinematic experience.Lastly, Lynda is also experienced in the Transportation industry. With her experience as an Administrative Assistant, Lynda has been responsible for various tasks within the company, including but not limited to customer service and manages payroll. Additionally, Lynda has been responsible for working with the Columbia College Hollywood marketing department in order to promote the college's campus events to certain entities. In all, these experiences have allowed Lynda to gain adeep understanding of the many fields that she currently occupies. Lynda believes that these experiences have give her a great foundation for the future, and she is excited to continue growing within the Entertainment industry.
