Lucy Gower has a 2:1 degree in education from the University of Leeds. She first began her academic studies there in 1994, and graduated in 1997. After completing her college education, Gower worked as a teaching assistant for one year before moving on to a position as a research assistant at the University of Leicester. After hearing about a position for a full-time research assistant at the University of Bath, Gower decided to submit an application. She was mistakenly accepted for the position, and spent six months working at the University of Bath before moving on to the University of Bath in September 1998. Gower returned to the University of Leeds in January 1999 and began her professional academic career.Gower's current position as a research assistant at the University of Bath offers her the opportunity to work on a wide range of research projects. She is also able to work on a variety of teaching and research projects in her spare time. Gower is very excited about her new position at the University of Bath, and is committed to researching and teaching in the field of education.
