💼 Past Experience

Lucho Poletti started his art career in the early 2000s. He has been associated with various artistspaces and exhibitions, both in his own right and as a member of group exhibitions. Poletti has exhibited his work at major museums such as the Isiapa Museum of Contemporary Art and the Accademia della Regina Elisabetta, Rome. He has also served as one of the organizers, or co-authors, of various art festivals, such as the Andalusian Biennale of Plastic Arts, the Venice Biennale of Art and Sculpture, and the Monterrey Biennial of Graphic Arts.Poletti's art often leans toward studying communication, mechanics, and machine-they-will-soon-destroy-us-reality visuals. His works often explore the potential consequences of technology. In his piece "The Zeroth Moratorium," for example, a represents a computer screen as if it were a viewpoint from beyond the creature's reach. It stares out at us with its screensaver playing on a monitor in the lower-left corner of the window. We see the creature's humanityist fervor, and at the same time we see the world it's pointinglessly destroying. Poletti calls this piece "The Zeroth Moratorium: A contemplation on the future of art."In addition to his work with art, Poletti also writes, teaches, and consults to businesses and individuals. In November of 2016, Poletti became the founder and CEO of Data Driven Investor, a business consulting company focused on data-driven decision-making. From February to July of 2016, Poletti served as a business analyst for Pernod Ricard, a global alcoholic beverage company. From April 2013 to October 2015, Poletti was a business analyst for consultancy business intelligence company AlEn USA. From September 2016 to February 2018, Poletti joined Consultant Business Intelligence, a business consulting firm focused on data-driven decision-making.Poletti is an artist, entrepreneur, and social media pundit. He has a strong belief that the power of data can change the way we live and work. He often uses his art and social media platforms to spread the message that data-driven decision-making is the future of business. Poletti has received numerous awards, including the Primeiro Banco de Portugal's biennial award for contemporary art, the 2015 Morgan StanleyGlobal Social Entrepreneurship Prize, and Stressed World Award from the Leonardo da Vinci Foundation.
