After the Degree in Economics at the LUISS University and a Master in Business Administration at Unioncamere, I have had the opportunity to get increasing responsabilities for more than 28 years (23 as Executive) in companies competing in diversified sectors (hight tech and consumer goods manufacturing vs financial and transportation services) as well with diversified ownership (state-owned, private domestic and multinational, public companies). In such frame, I have matured a consistent experience in both Staff and Line roles focusing in a first phase mainly activities and processes related to Strategy, Marketing and Sales; in the last decade, I have had the chance to integrate and consolidate my managerial background through the coordination of activities and processes related to Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Improvement and Information Technology. Such professional and managerial background supported me in playing roles with increasing responsability in complex organizations running significative changes such as Finmeccanica Group, Indesit Company and the Italian Railwais. The international business dimension has been another key driver of my managerial development path as well source of strong motivation in many of my professional experiences such as in Selex Communications,FGS (Shared Services Company of Finmeccanica Group) and Indesit Company. Last but not least, I would like to mention the short but very exciting enterpreneurial experience during the so called New Economy and related to the startup of Webjob SpA, dotcom in partnership with the Class Editori Media Group, whose mission – only partially achieved – has been to develop and deploy innovative services and solutions to support selection, training and development of new web skills.Senior Vice President Business Improvement @ Business Improvement (BIM) mission is to guarantee the innovation and the ongoing enhancement of the business and operating processes of Ansaldo Energia (one of the major Energy Power Plant EPC and Turbines Manufacturers; 1.2B€ Revenues with 3000 Employees), by promoting, integrating and coordinating inter-functional initiatives and projects aimed to improve the competitiveness of its products and services in terms of quality, effectiveness and efficiency. To pursue such mission, BIM is responsible to support the Top Management in the definition of Quality and Competitiveness strategic goals and to manage the Quality and Competitiveness Plans. The 4 Organization Units of BIM are Quality, Competitiveness, ICT and Facility Management. Previously tasked as Senior Advisor to coordinate the reorganization of: - the global supply chain of Ansaldo Energia, in order to support its international growth and to improve its industrial competitiveness through a balanced mix of design-to-cost, concurrent engineering, vendor base extension and global sourcing initiatives; - the re-engineering of the EPC Processes to improve competitiviness in terms of time-to-market, efficiency and effectiveness; the international network of 30 subsidiaries and branches supporting business development and operating processes in 25 countries. From January 2012 to Present (4 years) General Manager Business Improvement @ Support to the turnaround and relaunch of the company (800M€ Revenues with 4.200 Employees) through the coordination of its Business Improvement activities (Strategy, Partnerships, Quality, Industrial Competitiveness, Processes, ICT and Security) and of the reorganization, management and control of the italian and foreign subsidiaries (about 35% of the total turnover). From February 2009 to December 2011 (2 years 11 months) Genoa Area, ItalyChairman @ Startup of the company responsible for the Group governance of Real Estate, Property Management and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) through the "End-to-End" Program Management of all the Asset Management initiatives (relocation, development, dismission and sale) related to the Corporate Real Estate Portfolio and to the commitments received by several Group Operating Companies.
