Big Lou's DONUTS started cooking up hot donut treats taking part in many street festivals and fairs, a short time later their attention turned to Special Events such as the Melbourne Show, the Brisbane Show “Ekka”, Moomba Waterfest, V8 super car events and many more. After receiving many compliments of producing the “Best Donuts Ever” we knew we had to take it one step further. I also manage the public catering aspect of our business in which we take part in some of the countries most prestigious events in highly demanding environments. We have been awarded the accolade of preferred donut caterer to many catering contractors and venues and we're proud to win the overall Gold caterers award at the royal melbourne show amongst a large number of caterers reaching 100. From August 2008 to Present (7 years 4 months) Melbourne Area, AustraliaDirector @ I created from scratch a new brand in the sports nutrition industry with 2 unique concepts new to the industry which enabled us to break into a very fierce market. I was responsible for innovation, invention and product development. I worked very closely with food technologists to achieve specific nutritional profiles and values in all products we developed whilst targeting specific target markets, maintaining price points and developing unique innovative products which led the industry to follow. I was responsible for product marketing, packaging and design and educating our stockists about our products. Our business took part in and sponsored many fitness industry events across Australia as well as conducting seminars on health, fitness and nutrition.
