Lori Singer holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College, where she also studied event management. Singer worked as a research scientist at several universities before landing her first work role as a marketing manager at Revlon in 1990. She parlayed her work at Revlon into a chance to lead a new business ventures at Younique, a fragrance industry giant. After two years at Younique, Singer moved to Unilever in 2004 as a brand leader for the global marketing arm of the company. She later served as the director of marketing for bath and body products, home and fine fragrance, and color cosmetics and fragrance at Benetton Group before becoming Whirlpool’s director of marketing for global fragrance in 2015. At Unilever, Singer managed global fragrance platforms and protected the company’s coffee and bourbon brands.In her eight years at Whirlpool, Singer oversaw the growth of the company’s global fragrance line and oversaw the launch of over 100 new fragrance trademarks. She also served as a managing director for Whirlpool’s fragrance development team and was responsible for the strategic direction and management of Whirlpool’s global fragrance portfolio. Singer is a member of the International Fragrance Association and is a Certified Fragrance Trainer.
