The primary goal is to work with AWS and Microsoft Azure, to drive revenue through a leveraged model whether directly or through their ecosystem of SI's and ISV's. This position reported to VP of Strategic Alliances. From November 2012 to September 2014 (1 year 11 months) Greater Seattle AreaSr. Business Development Manager Global Alliances @ Amazon Web Services As Sr. Global Alliance Manager I was responsible for driving awareness, adoption and revenue across AWS's ISV ecosystem and their customers. I joined the organizations as the first Microsoft Alliance Manager focused on developing and managing the Microsoft/AWS partnership. My primary goal was to increase Windows based revenue on AWS. This was achieved by recruiting and developing Microsoft's ISV, SI, VAR and MSP ecosystem through GTMs targeted at channel awareness and sales programs, enabling the AWS sales team to drive those solutions with customers. Furthermore, this role included negotiating all business and licensing agreements between Microsoft and AWS and managing executive level engagements. Achieved 150%+ Windows based revenue growth year over year.
