I'm a pragmatic, results focused HR Leader with a passion for not just making things happen but making a positive difference ! With 25 years experience in the OD, Talent and Change space I've worked across multiple industries and geographies building strategies to support the business both today and for the future. .Leadership, Management and Talent Development @ After designing and delivering multiple Management, Leadership and Talent development offerings, the challenge now is to embed these capabilities across the airline to ensure we are fit for success both today and in the future, My role is to build strategies to ensure strong leadership and management capabilities become part of the easyJet DNA. This is no ivory tower HR so my commercally focused and pragmactic approach are being put to good use From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Luton, United KingdomHR Transformation Business Lead @ At easyJet we want to make it simple for our people and managers to have access to the tools, data, policies and HR services they need to do their jobs. Our programme of change is looking at all these elements to build an HR function which supports the business both today but is scalable for the future. My role as Business Lead is to ensure the business requirements are understood and translated into deliverables, to manage stakeholders to bring them on the journey with us and to ensure we have a robust change plan to maximise adoption, engagement and therefore realise the benefits of the programme. It's a varied role and no 2 days are the same - my deep experience in change management has enabled me to 'stand in other people's shoes' and bring people on the journey with us From September 2014 to Present (1 year 4 months) Luton, United KingdomLeadership Development & Change @ This role was all about building the foundations for management development, leadership and change. I introduced the People Manager Development Programme - building the awareness, capabilities and knowledge of our manager population, a programme which was accredited by Beds University. Next step was to create a suite of Leadership Programmes for our identified eayJet talent. Partnering with faculty from London Business School and Ashridge I led the design and delivery of 3 brand new programmes with content which included Leadership, Strategy & Marketing and Change & Innovation. Finally I led the introduction of an easyJet change toolkit to support managers and leaders as they delivered various transormation programmes. This was a pragmatic piece of work designed to 'meet the audience' from their starting point and help build the organisational capability in this area From March 2013 to September 2014 (1 year 7 months) Luton, United KingdomInternational Talent, Development and Mobility Director @ UnitedHealth Group is a large US health and benefits business with an ever growing footprint in both EMEA and APAC. Historically all development support was provided from the US and my role as head of our International region had 3 key areas of focus: - set up teams in both geographies and align the offerings to the corporate portfolie - my ambition was to provide consistent development offerings regardless of which business or country employees were based in - provide tailored development solutions for the non US business many of which had joined UHG through acquisition - drive the mobility agenda outside of the US: our ambition as an organisation was for our employees to have 'multiple careers' at UHG so a programme of support and change was introduced to even the balance between internal and external hires From September 2008 to August 2012 (4 years) Talent Development Consultant @ My role at this results focused, fast paced consultancy was to build out the Talent Development offering. Initially this consisted of designing and delivering leadership development and change programmes for organisation in industries as diverse as Utilities, Grocery and Telecoms but quickly moved into the creation of an 'Organisation Capability Review' toolkit - this pragmatic tool drove a simple yet effective way to review current talent against key skills and capabilities required for now and the future - this enabled HR functions and business leaders to spot very quickly where they should focus their development efforts which in turn helped them to deliver a more targetted and cost effective development portfolio From 2007 to 2008 (1 year) Global Organization Effectiveness Consultant @ As part of a global (in house) consulting practice I led the global high performance leadership academy to develop our pool of future senior leaders. Leading a high energy team, I designed and delivered the programme for both our EMEA and APAC employees including modules on Leadership, Innovation and Change. My other key responsibility was to provided organisation effectiveness consulting across wide range of business units located across the globe. This was a fantastic opportunity to learn how to tailor solutions for different audiences, businesses and cultures From 2004 to 2007 (3 years) Director / Owner @ Due to redundancy, I took the opportunity to set up and lead an independent leadership development and OD consultancy serving FTSE100 companies. Early on I worked as a 'one man band' but quickly started to win bigger projects, needing to build an associate network. My strong relationship building skills and active network meant that I often had to turn work away which was a great position to be in and taught me a lot about prioritising and focusing my energy in the right place From 2001 to 2004 (3 years) Learning Solutions Consultant @ This was an exciting time to work for this Global Telecoms business - a period of huge growth and change. I was hired to lead the Learning Solutions team across Europe. Starting from scratch my initial focus was around building the basics: a strong Induction programme for the business unit, a standard development catalogue for both technical and non-technical programmes and assessment centres to support our recruitment process. After the first year, my focus became much more about identifying and developing the talent for the future - this included rolling out the Talent Assessment process, building leadership development programmes and leading the Succession approach and process From 1998 to 2001 (3 years) Training & Development Consultant @ This role offered me many opportunities and was the place I really 'learnt my craft' in the training and development space. My role moved quickly from delivering 1 and 2 day sessions on topics such as 'time management' and 'basics of management' to being a part of the Management Development Centre which focused on identifying and developing Talent for DHL's future From 1995 to 1997 (2 years) Brussels Area, BelgiumDr Challoners From 1983 to 1987 Lisa FCIPD is skilled in: Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Succession Planning, Organizational Design, Culture Change, Change Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Executive Coaching, Leadership, Strategy, Coaching, Management Development, Organizational Effectiveness
