TD: Hi Linda. Can you tell me your background first?Linda Tran: I am a Post-Bachelor Fellow with the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Seattle. I worked therefrom September 2007 to July 2009, and then I worked at the International Training and Education Centre for Health from May 2009 to June 2009. I also performed research at School of Population Health, University of Queensland from August 2009 to April 2010. I identified inequalities in child and maternal health and at-risk demographic sectors in Southeast Asia. I also developed statistical tests to evaluate data quality. I also fostered relationships and communicated with policymakers at national institutions. I then worked at UberEats from January 2018 to June 2020, as the founding data scientist of the Uber NYC office.
