From February 2015 to Present (11 months) Electrical Engineer @ €100million Project - Pharmaceutical Client BOD Stage Working closely with the Lead Engineer. Working closely with other disciplines to ensure we avoided any potential clashes. Using Dialux to create Lighting scenes and produce Lighting Reports. Creating Lighting, Fire Alarm and General Services Drawings in Autocad. Liaising with Fire Alarm Specialist to ensure that the most cost effective and required system was being used. Creating Excel Sheets which can be used for load study calculations as well as MTO's. Ensuring that our perception of the drawings matched the actual perception of the building as per the 3D model. From August 2014 to February 2015 (7 months) Electrical Engineer @ €150million Project - HV/MV Electrical Substation Design (Confidential Client). Preparing the interconnection drawings for the new 110kV/10.5kV for the new and upgraded system onsite. Working closely with the Lead Engineer to ensure that all surveys are carried out efficiently and used effectively before finalising all interconnection drawings for interwiring of the Transformers, Transformer Protection Panels, Interface Panels and the Kiosks. Finalising Autocad drawings for all items to be installed in the Substation areas as well as the ducting system. From December 2013 to August 2014 (9 months) corkProject Engineer @ Carrying out Material Take Offs. Preparing Submittal for approval. Raising RFI's and closing out with client. Preparing Work Pack's for our supervisors. Updating Cable Schedules. Ensuring we meet specifications. Ensuring our construction team are aware of any changes in scopework or equipment specifications. Working closely with the Project Manager ensuring he is aware of any changes and any updates received. Working with commercial manager informing of any potential changes affecting cost. Working closely with the onsite supervisors to ensure all the information required for their installations is available for them to proceed and complete. Prepare weekly report. Document control. Ensuring our Document control meets our and the clients quality standards. Ensuring our Subcontractor equipment meets specifications. Liaising with our subcontractors on any scope or design changes. Working closely with the QA Manager ensuring that system turnover packs are complete. Carrying out QA walkdowns before system handover to the client. From February 2013 to November 2013 (10 months) Project Controls @ Carry out Material Take Offs on IFC drawings. Construct Job Measure Sheet incorporating all items to be installed by us. This allows us to Purchase Materials, Track Progress and Plan Labour. Carry out Comparisons between Tender and Construction Quantities. Tracking and Reporting Weekly Progress to our Project, Construction and Commercial Managers as well as to the Client. Updating Project Cable Schedules received from the Client by comparing to previous Schedules received and applying any changes found. Raising RFI's on behalf of myself and our construction team. Closing out any RFI's with the client. Pricing Additional Works. Attend co-ordination meetings. Liaise with the Construction Team to ensure no items are missed on installation. Liaise with the Construction Team and go through any changes or variations they might of had to undertake.
