From Talent Acquisition to Customer Relationship Management, Lia Mendes has experience in every stage of the recruitment process.Born and raised in São Paulo, Lia has worked in various positions within the Brazilian telecommunications industry, starting out as a Recruitment Specialist at Quantum Technology Recruiting. Lia has seen first-hand how a good recruitment strategy can make or break a company, and has learned how to create a good customer experience for the clients she meets.Following her experience at Quantum, Lia moved on to Sony, where she was responsible for the intake and assessment process for new employees. She also marketed Sony's products and services to new and existing customers. Lia also had the opportunity to work with customers on a day-to-day basis, 7 days a week, and learned how to build and manage a customer relationship.In her current role as a Customer Experience Representative at Indigo, Lia helps customers interact with their Bell representatives on the phone and in person. She also interacts with customers on a daily basis to understand their needs and preferences, and helps to develop customer relationships. Lia believes that the best way to create a good customer experience is to listen and learn as much as possible. Lia Mendes attended York University where she received a B.A. in Psychology in 2013. She then moved on to study at the ACCES Employment where she received her Master's degree in Employment Science in 2017. Lia Mendes then completed her post-graduate studies at the Centre Integrated of Superior Studies of Amazon, where she received her Doctorate degree in 2018. Lia Mendes is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre Integrated of Superior Studies of Amazon.
