With more than 14 years of communications experience, I am very skilled and am comfortable working in cross matrix MNCs. I also have the experience to develop, implement and deliver an over arching Internal Communications (IC) structure across a global business while overseeing local markets in a planned, consistent, and measurable way.
Currently as the Internal Communications Business Partner, I provide strategic communications counsel to the Global IT function, Asia Pacific regional commercial head and regional management team, and leverage senior management in communications.
Snr Communications Advisor @ From February 2015 to Present (11 months) Internal Communications Business Partner - Global IT & Asia Pacific) @ As a strategic business advisor/partner to the CIO and Global IT function, my role is to advise on all aspects of internal communications and help to bring to life the business vision and strategy for our employees.
Partnering with the CIO of the company and the IT Leadership team, the role will include crafting and delivering a compelling and well-rounded internal communications programme. As a strategic communications advisor, I advise fact off to senior level stakeholders across a large, complex organisation.
Responsible for the delivery of the internal communications strategies, plans and tools across the globe, part of my responsibilities also include helping our employees understand why we need to embrace change to build a bigger and more successful global business.
Key accountabilities will also include delivering and supporting the Internal Communications Strategy across the group to ensure understanding of the Group Strategy and to build engagement with all employees. Supporting both Global and Functional communication needs, a key requirement is also to ensure the delivery of y of global communications in a consistent way across all regions taking into account cultural differences and local needs. Japan @ In alignment to wider business goals specifically in the area of Asia Pacific, as the Internal Communications Manager, my role was to assist in driving employee engagement via various APAC and Group Internal Communications (IC) projects and platforms, analyze existing IC communications channels and platforms to ensure effectiveness in APAC communications and strategising, managing and implementing the various communications programs to ensure our regional strategic goals are top of mind for our employees.
In addition, as the IC Manager for APAC, I had to ensure we continue to keep the 2 way communication between the regional senior leadership team and our employees through various internal events and program.s From April 2012 to July 2012 (4 months) SingaporeInternal Communications Manager - Asia Pacific Incl. Japan @ As the Internal Communications Manager at HP Enterprise Services ITO, I am responsible for senior management and employee communications support within Asia Pacific incl. Japan (APJ). As the key internal communication consultant to senior management, I handle the communication process and communication planning as well as co-ordinating the communication activities within APJ and WW - driving change-related communications.
