Successfully recruited software, mechanical and verification engineers using direct sourcing methods, head hunting within Europe to find very niche skills involving safety critical software and systems. Aveillant’s Holographic Radar™ product resolves the interference between wind turbines and aviation radar, a problem which is causing major disruption to the renewable energy industry in the UK and throughout the world. From June 2014 to January 2015 (8 months) Global Talent Acquisition Manager @ Responsible for end to end global recruitment on all positions, I initially joined to focus on technical recruitment, establish best practice recruitment processes and procedures and implement the Taleo applicant tracking system. Using PMR and GSM technology, provided research work into the use of GPS, and developed a GPS unit to be post fitted to the product installed in AA recovery vehicles. I was nicknamed ‘Q’ for my novel ideas and ability to adapt products to produce a demonstration system at short notice. From 1992 to 1998 (6 years) Customer Services Manager @ Initially rejoined as a Product Introduction Engineer, project managing a new graphics card utilising a custom ASIC. Progressing to running the Technical Support and Service departments, managing staff and working closely with all departments and main clients, often in a technical pre and post-sales capacity. In addition I also acted as the company Technical Author, producing installation, FAQs and operational manuals. This involved mixed signal analogue and digital designs using Motorola 68008 processors, A/Ds, D/As and real-time software development in C and assembler.
