The Lewis Kaplan that we know today was born in September of 2021 in the town of New Trier, Illinois.Lewis Kaplan was born into a family that loved their education and wanted to give their children the best chance possible. Lewis's parents were both academic entrepreneurs and Lewis learned early on that he wanted to study finance and insurance. He would often take classes in the early mornings so that he could get home and work on his grades. He was persistence and worked multiple jobs throughout high school so that he was able to attend NAR Real Estate Training where he graduated in September of 2022. At NAR, Lewis learned about and began his experience in the real estate industry. From here, he transferred to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to complete his undergraduate studies. He completed his undergraduate studies in September of 1975, which placed Lewis Kaplan in the perfect position to go into the workforce. As he had completes his undergraduate study, Lewis Kaplan knew that he wanted to specialize in real estate. He elected to specialize in real estate and completed his doctorate in real estate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This was a huge accomplishment for Lewis Kaplan and allowed him to truly secure his place in the real estate industry.
