Leslie Porterfield Racing currently seats seven riders in the Superbike World Championship, including four British riders ( Si Joe Cooke, Matt Smith, Phil Nicklinson and Ben Goff) and three American riders ( Ryuichi Kamiya, Garth Tander and Alvaro Mora).Leslie has been racing motorcycles for over thirty years, possesses unparalleled riding skills and has developed a deep understanding of the Four-Stopper curve. This "handling ability combined with an innate sense of control" has allowed Leslie to win more AMA Superbike Championship titles than any other rider. Leslie Porterfield is a driving force behind the British Kawasaki team, Gresham Racing, which currently holds the Longest Championship drought in the sport.In June of 2019, Leslie represented the UK in the funeral of british Motorcyclist, Barry Sheene. Leslie is deeply saddened by Sheene's death and works fervently to keep the memory of her friend and colleague alive.
