Director of Brand and Content @ I led a head-to-toe refresh of the WyzAnt brand, including the development of new positioning, voice, and messaging platform, as well as a redesign of the logo, homepage, top level landing pages, email templates and social media profiles. I developed, implemented and managed the WyzAnt content strategy (including the launch of the WyzAnt blog) and social media strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement. I coordinated across multiple departments including product and design, and directly led a team of two: content strategist and marketing coordinator. From June 2015 to December 2015 (7 months) San Francisco Bay AreaDirector of Consumer and Product Marketing @ Consumer Marketing:
I developed, implemented and managed brand positioning, product positioning and marketing (mobile apps and CRM), brand building strategies and campaigns, and a holistic content strategy including PR, social media, and the ZipRealty blog. I drove consumer research via surveys, focus groups and interviews. I coordinated across multiple departments including product and design, and directly led a team of three: copywriter, social strategist, and PR manager.
SaaS and Product Marketing:
I developed all of the marketing deliverables for for ZipRealty’s SaaS business line, “Powered by Zip” (white-label consumer facing web, mobile web and app, and agent/broker facing CRM), and was a key collaborator in developing and executing the go-to-market strategy. I established PbZ as a thought leader in the space by creating and publishing White Papers and reports. I developed the PbZ website, brand template and all email marketing campaigns (targeted by specific segments) to drive interest and awareness of PbZ. I ran point on all trade shows (including development of all on-stage presentations and in-booth strategy, as well as design and SWAG, etc.). The work of these marketing efforts directly led to Realgoy, the largest real estate company in the world, acquiring ZipRealty (and PbZ) in August of 2014.
Post acquisition, I developed and executed end-to-end product marketing for “Zap”, ZipRealty’s technology product, as well as the “sell-in” strategy for all of Realgoy’s brands (Coldwell Banker, C21, Better Homes and Gardens, ERA and Sotheby's). This included marketing materials (both digital and print), email marketing campaigns, and brand-specific on-stage presentations, as well developing the launch and all materials (including thought leadership and product presentations) of the first annual “Inside Zap” 2-day conference. From January 2013 to June 2015 (2 years 6 months) Brand Manager @ I managed the refresh of the ZipRealty brand, including the development of new positioning, new voice and new messaging platform. I developed a holistic, global brand strategy and development plan based on consumer truths, market dynamics and business impact and opportunity. I developed, documented and maintained the company’s brand voice, developed and implemented brand building strategies and campaigns, and ensured consistency and excellence across a wide variety of marketing materials including: direct mail, email, multimedia, brochures and web. From July 2010 to January 2013 (2 years 7 months) Copywriter @ I crafted copy for all sales and marketing materials including: direct/ e-mail campaigns, advertising, collateral for events and conferences, product video scripts, and the ZipRealty website. From June 2006 to July 2010 (4 years 2 months) Copywriter @ Created content for 20+ pages per website (about the hotel, the area, etc); created key word rich tags, headers etc. for each page; created copy for PPC ads for each website.
