In her previous work she has developed playwrights' treatments for adult patients with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.Billings-Harris is currently a research associate at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. In this role she is working on a study to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of using theatre to improve mental and physical health in adults with low-functioning brains.
