It encompasses different areas such as information technology (IT), business architecture, marketing, and customer service. It is an increasingly important corridor of growth for businesses, as they are looking to stay competitive and meet the needs of their customers.IEEE, a world-renowned authority in electronic engineering and technology, has always been a player in the digital transformation field. I worked as an IEEE member and officer from 2010-2011 as the Director of IEEE Board of Directors. In my previous experience, I helped develop and led the effort to create a board that would impact the direction of IEEE and support its mission. I was also a director at IEEE from 2007-2008 as the Managing Partner at Vincula Group.IEEE is a world-renowned authority in electronic engineering and technology. Their mission is to develop, promote, and advocate for the advancement of technology in the electronic engineering and technology professions. They are a non-profit, self-funded institution that provides education and technology support to engineers. IEEE’s associate members are individual companies and institutions who join and support IEEE as an ISO member.At Vincula Group, I was a managing partner and then SVP of Digital Transformation and Integration for Liquidax Capital. My previous roles at Liquidax Capital included developing and leading the company’s strategy for digital transformation, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations. My previous experience in digital transformation helps me to understand the various challenges and opportunities involved in this field, and I am proud to have been a part of Liquidax Capital’s success.I also have experience in marketing and sales at Rockwell Automation from February 2005-February 2007. At Rockwell Automation, I was a senior director and program manager for Digital Equipment Corporation from August 1980 to June 1993. In my previous experience at Digital Equipment Corporation, I was a director and program manager for the software development branch and the comprehensive services branch.As a result of my experience in marketing and sales, I ensured that Digital Equipment Corporation delivered on its promise to NATO and other government clients to increase efficiency, develop new products, and reduce marketing costs. I also helpedDesign,implementation,andmonitorstrategic planning for the company’s new product offerings.IEEE also has experience in manufacturing and technology consulting at SCMEP from June 1993 to August 1995. At SCMEP, I was a director and program manager for the software development branch and the comprehensive services branch. My previous experience in manufacturing and technology consulting gives me a comprehensive understanding of the various areas of and challenges that digital transformation projects face.In sum, my previous experience gives me a wealth of knowledge and insights about digital transformation and how it can be successfully implemented. I hope that my experiences can help other businesses in similar positions and help them navigate their way through the challenges and opportunities of this important corridor of growth.
