I have a solid 5 years experience in advertising and marketing with a focus on digital and in particular Paid Search. My background has seen a history of dealing with experts in the industry at every level across a wide range of clients and verticals as well as having to handle large work loads and some unique challenges. My practical experience remit includes management of PPC as well as integrated digital marketing campaigns across Google, Yahoo & MSN, utilising technology such as Marin and Ignition One. I took and passed the now well recognised GAP exam 3 times as well as also completing the Ad Excellence exam. During my time I have often been charged with seeking out and exploiting new or viable opportunities for clients, like promotion of new products / offerings or better structuring campaigns or approaches to improve visibility to existing and potential new customers. My roles have also included presentations internally and externally regarding reports, ideas and forecasting. I have also been able to improve my Excel skills and knowledge utilising logic formulas and pivot tables to simplify / analyse large / complex data sets, which has been useful for reporting and discovering trends in data over time. More recently I have taken time away from advertising, mainly involving working at a training company held within Compass Group UK. This has meant notable changes from marketing, but has allowed me to broaden my communication skills working with a range of different characters under one of the largest hospitality groups in the UK. Taking time away from the industry has been good for me, but the one thing that has remained is half a decade's worth of experience in some of London's top media and advertising agencies. From this point I am only interested in a role either client side or within a smaller agency.
