Instrumentalist (bass)After studying music at University of Salford, Laura Thompson started playing bass in professional bands in the early 1990s. After several years of playing in bands, she moved to London in 2000 to join a band called "The Score". After a few successful tours, the band decided to break up and Laura moved back to Manchester to pursue a career in music management. However, this didn't work out and in 2002 she moved back to London and founded her own band called "Passion Play". In 2005 Laura moved to Manchester again and started playing bass with a band called "The Vibrators" as well as management and creative acting for various bands. During this time she also founded her own music label, "Passion Play Productions", and started touring with her own bands. In 2007 Laura moved to Birmingham to start a new band and formed a publishing company with her bandmates. Once the band had finished its first album, they decided to move back to Manchester and Laura became the band's manager and CEO. In early 2014 Laura started her own management company which she later moved to Birmingham.Between 2007 and 2014, Laura was also the bassist for the Sheffield-based punk band "The Necros".
