Since I have been a professional recruiter for the past three and a half years, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of industries. I have worked with marketing and advertising, contracting, physical office management, and social media. I have found that all industries have different needs and approaches to recruitment, so it is important to understand what the specific industry wants in a staffer.One of the biggest differences between marketing and advertising and contracting is the customer. Marketing and advertising are all about building relationships with customers and making sure that they are happy. Contractors, on the other hand, are mainly hired to provide a service. This means that contractors are not typically concerned with building relationships with their customers.In my experience, the customer is the most important factor in advertising and marketing. In contractor work, it is more important to provide the service that the customer needs. Contracts often come with guaranteed work and no customer service. This is not the case with marketing and advertising, where the responsibility for customer service usually falls on the sales team. social media is a different story altogether. Social media is ultimately about communicating with customers. In marketing and advertising, the department that does the marketing and advertising is separate from the department that does the social media. This is not the case with contractor work, where the social media department is part of the same organization as the marketing department.In conclusion, marketing and advertising are more important when it comes to building relationships with customers. Contractors, on the other hand, are more important when it comes to providing a service. Social media is a different story altogether and should be approached with caution.
