I was brought in on a contract basis to recruit senior level talent into the product engineering and design organizations. As a result of my performance, I was asked to convert to full-time and was promoted to a staffing manager for the product design organization.

• 90% offer to accept ratio From August 2004 to June 2005 (11 months) Contract Recruiter @ Cybertrader was an on-line investment software company whose clients were high-volume, day traders. Cybertrader was acquired by Charles Schwab in 2004.
I was hired as a consultant to work closely with the CTO, software engineering and IT management to determine recruiting needs and strategies. I introduced cold-calling and research techniques to drive down third-party recruiting fees but the parent company underwent a hiring freeze in CA that placed my contract on hold indefinitely. From May 2004 to August 2004 (4 months) Contract Recruiter @ MessageOne was a business continuity & disaster recovery software company with 50 employees. MessageOne was acquired by Dell Computer Corporation in 2008.
I worked closely with the CEO and the executive team to determine recruiting strategy for development, support, sales, and IT candidates.
Accomplishments included:
• Saved the company approximately $100,000 by eliminating the need for third party agencies
• Extended and negotiated offers with a 90% offer to accept ratio From February 2004 to May 2004 (4 months) Contract Recruiter @ Vignette was a content management software company based in Austin, Texas. Vignette was purchased by OpenText in 2009.
I had previously worked at Vignette in a full-time capacity and was asked to come back in on a consulting basis to help with sales recruiting.
I successfully hired 15 individuals in a 6 month period with no agency assistance. From August 2003 to February 2004 (7 months) Recruiting Consultant @ Dell is a leading global computer and electronic manufacturer.
I was hired on a contract basis to replace a colleague who was on maternity leave. I recruited across the sales and services organizations for the America’s Staffing Division.
My accomplishments included:
• The only recruiter on the Americas Staffing Team to conduct aggressive cold-calling campaigns to ramp sales hiring and reduce third-party agency fees
