Due to her exceptional leadership skills and strong customer-orientation, Ms. Danielsen has a long history of sales success in bringing technology to market and building focused teams.
Previously, she was VP of Sales at HotLink Corporation ($10M funding), a privately held, venture capital backed company based in Sunnyvale, California. Started in early 2010 by data center software veterans of FastScale Technology, Inc. (acquired by VMware).
As the VP of FastScale Technology ($12M funding), a provider of software virtualization and provisioning solutions for enterprise-class Web farms and data centers, she built and implemented sales strategy from start-up (1/2006) through acquisition by EMC/VMware.
She joined FastScale from Scali (acquired by Platform Computing), a provider of software solutions for Linux data centers, where she was VP of Sales for the western region.
Previously, Laila was director of sales for Penguin Computing and held sales management roles as U.S. Sales Director for Pacific Design Engineering, Partnership Manager at IBM Corporation, Sales Director at Bergens Tidende and Sr Account Executive at Applied Theory Corporation.
