This included refining an editorial team, and creating a printing and distribution system to support a 64,000 sq. mile circulation each month. This publication is still in circulation today.I authored and published a 120-page cross-platform social media usage guide for district recruiters that is still in use today.I earned the Navy Achievement Medal for completely redesigning the 8th Marine Corps District public website. This included writing more than 5,000 lines of code, implementing a content management system for news, editorial content and press releases, and implementing social media capabilities for the site. From July 2009 to January 2011 (1 year 7 months) Fort Worth, TexasPublic Affairs Specialist @ United States Marine Corps I publicized the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit throughout several training exercise deployments in multiple countries throughout the Far East, including in Exercise Forest Light in Nihonbare, Japan, exercise Cope Tiger in Khorat, Thailand, Exercise Foal Eagle in Yecheon, South Korea, and Exercise Ulchi-Focus Lens in Pohang, South Korea.I successfully designed and launched a physical print publication (The Iwakuni Approach) from the ground up. This included creating an editorial team, and creating a printing and distribution system to support a 20,000-copy circulation each week.
