Kristen has nearly 20 years of expertise in business-to-business communications, working with a diverse group of companies across all segments of the high-tech industry. She currently serves as a brand marketing manager for the SolidWorks brand at Dassault Systemes, North America. Most recently she developed a global PR program for SolidWorks.
Previously led the Blanc & Otus Boston office’s enterprise technology initiatives and was responsible for day-to-day management of the CA, Inc. account. Kristen was Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at Forrester Research. Her primary responsibilities included creating executive visibility programs for the CEO and CMO; and architecting a Speakers Bureau to centralize speaking engagements across the company. In addition, Kristen managed the speaking tour for the book “Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies” (Harvard Business Press, May 2008). While at Forrester, Kristen also drove PR strategy for Forrester’s technology-focused Research teams, data and events.
During her career, Kristen worked at several PR agencies in Boston, developing and managing media and analyst relations programs for clients such as Computerworld, Concerto Software, Cyberplex, Demantra, Digital Equipment Corporation and Tivoli Systems. Kristen also directed Compaq’s Enterprise Computing Group account teams, and acted as the internal PR manager for Compaq’s Business Critical Server Group. In addition to her time at agencies, Kristen served as the PR Manager for networking start-up Sitara Networks.
Kristen’s career began in television at WOKR, an ABC affiliate in Rochester, NY, where she was weekend assignment editor.
