💼 Past Experience

Kola Olugbodi was born in 1984 in Victoria, Nigeria. She is the eldest of three children. Olugbodi’s parents, Dr. Bukola Olugbodi and Mrs. Olugbodi, are nurses. Kola Olugbodi did her secondary school education at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Osun State, Nigeria. From there, she completed her undergraduate studies at IIM, Africa, in business administration and marketing. While at IIM, she was the inaugural chairman of the board of trustees for the Association of African Professional Background Check (NAPBS). She also holds a graduate degree in business adminstration from IIM. Olugbodi started her working career at Background Check International in October, 2003. There, she was a CEO from 2003 until 2006. From 2006 to 2009, she was a board member of Josh Cyrus Ventures. From 2009 to 2011, she was a VP at Background Check International before being hired as the CEO of Background Check International. From 2011 to 2013, she was a VP at Josh Cyrus Ventures. From 2013 to 2015, she was the CEO of Background Check International before being hired as the CEO of Background Check International, Africa. From 2015 to present, she is the CEO of Background Check International, Africa.

Kola Olugbodi has a B.ScDemography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University where she finished from January 1984 to January 1988. She also has an ECUEvangelical Christian Fellowship from January 1984 to January 1988. She then proceeded to pass Secondary School Certificate WAEC from Baptist High School, Ede, in Nigeria. Then she passed Primary School Primary Education from Atunda Olu School, Lagos in January 1971 to January 1976. She has completed a tertiary education in the form of a WAECSchool Certificate at Baptist Academy, Lagos from January 1977 to January 1979.
