Kjell Bergh was born in a small town in southern Sweden in 1957. He went to school in his home town, but after two years he moved to the city and started studying business at the university. Bergh worked his way up through the company, starting as a sales representative and working his way up to the position of CEO. Bergh leaves Borton Volvo in 2020 to take up the position of Consul at Consulate of the United Republic of Tanzania.Bergh has a background in the field of automotive. He started his career at Borton Volvo as the owner and CEO. He has also been the chairman and CEO of Borton Motors, Inc. From 1988 to 2003, he was the President of the Board. He is currently a Consul at Consulate of the United Republic of Tanzania.Bergh is a Civility Leader in the United States Air Force, United States Space Force, and member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He is also a Advisory Board member at Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Chairman & CEO at Borton Overseas. From July 1974 to December 2020, he was the chairman of the board at Norwegian Refugee Council USA. He has also volunteered crew on the Atlantic crossing from Antigua, British West Indies to Palma, Mallorca at S/Y Freedom. He currently resides in the United States.
