Sr. Software Engineer / MGTS - Member Group Technical Staff @ At WEBENCH Design Center we are building world class online Design Tools helping thousands of customers create millions of designs. As a Lead Developer I interact with several application teams within the WEBENCH Design Center to help maintain and enhance the framework to meet the needs of their application requirements.
Responsibilities
• Led the integration of platform and tools between TI's Analog eLab Design Center and National's WEBENCH Design Center that use .Net & Java. This exercise required us to convert some of our monolithic .Net applications to follow SOA design principles for integration.
• Led the integration of online Schematic Edit & Simulation.
• Primary Lead of Power Architect PMU Designer.
• Led the Design and Development of automation tools for the development of schematics.
• Primary lead for the design and integration of WEBENCH with CAD export tools. From March 2012 to Present (3 years 10 months) Sr.Software Engineer / Technical Lead @ At Analog eLab we are building Design Tools (both our online and offline) to address the needs of Applications and Design engineers
• Led the Architecture, Design and Development of Parts Library that is central to sharing and storing customer parts. The service is available as an API for both our online and offline design tools making it seamless for the developers of the Design Tools while using the service. This API has been developed with a focus to make it available across all our online and offline tools seamlessly.
• Responsible for the design and development of Report Designer API for enabling PDF reports across all the Design tools for both online and offline platforms
• Led the team towards a successful release of SwitcherPro our first offline Design Tool
• Developed our first 100% SVG schematic integration in FilterPro. From June 2008 to February 2012 (3 years 9 months) Level 3 Web Developer @ TURPS is an internal tool being developed as a part of Enterprise Test Case Management product suite for monitoring and reporting performance and stress evaluation reports.
• Involved with the Design and Development of the platform as a service
• Developed several pieces of the API from registering the products to test cases and reporting performance & stress test numbers
• Developed back processes for number crunching, reporting and comparisons across platforms and hardware From January 2008 to June 2008 (6 months) Software Developer @ StayWell Interactive offers online Health and Wellness software to helps customers track their Wellness activities.
• Responsible for customization of the application to fit the customer needs
• Configure and customize modules as per the customer requests.
• Customization of log-in modules to support customer environment. Supporting single sign-on or UserID/Password log-in
• Worked with the Program manager & the customer to ensure proper styling is applied for the customer site.
• Assist with custom site setup and testing. From August 2007 to December 2007 (5 months) Greater Salt Lake City AreaDevelopment Engineer @ Wonderware offers Factelligence which is a Manufacturing Execution System(MES) software with several modules like inventory, process, monitoring, reporting and many more.
• Complete ownership of the reporting module.
• The Reporting Module offers a Web based query system and a desktop based Report & Query Designer system that is can used to create new custom reports on demand.
• The system has been designed to be able to build customized reports onsite for the the customer by the field engineers using the Report Designer.
• Query designer helps the customers build queries from a list of predefined views in the system. The views are expanded in successive releases to support new and unique requests from customers and field.
• The Report Designer can be used to design a custom report view that feeds on the data from custom queries. The Report View is then saved as a template in the system along with its custom query. These reports can then be managed with appropriate ACL managed by System Configurator module.
• The system is also designed to support Sub-Reports.
• Designed to work both on SQL Server and Oracle 9i databases. From January 2006 to July 2007 (1 year 7 months) Software Engineer @ EMS offers clinical skills assessment tools that help improve training experience for both trainees and trainers.
• Complete ownership of design and development of reporting module on ASP.Net platform using Active Reports from data dynamics. Developed several reports for each module. Reports are then organized by modules that are licensed for the customer
• Developed stored procedures and web controls for clinical case management modules and session management modules
• Took an active part in the customer training program
• Proactive in issue tracking and resolving customer issues.
• Involved in the creation of custom log-in modules. From January 2005 to January 2006 (1 year 1 month) Malvern PA USAApplication Engineer @ STEO (Short Term Energy Outlook) is at the forefront for data gathering and analysis. As a member of this team, I was responsible for developing data collection and processing tools. Developed applications using classic ASP technology stack for the web and VB for desktop. Responsible for developing data feed layer that processes data uploads. Responsible for developing admin tools for creating source to target mapping of data that is being uploaded. Led project discussions for presenting data analysis findings and recommendations to the modeling teams From March 2004 to January 2005 (11 months) Washington D.C. Metro Area
