My focus is helping clients make sense of the convoluted space that Manufacturing Information Software has become. If properly architected, the Plant Information Management System (PIMS) will pull all of the data together into one clean, aggregated model that can be used as the basis for informed decision making. My challenge is getting clients to back away from the alphabet soup (MES, OEE, MOM, etc) that they are constantly inundated with and focus on the needs of their business.
By guiding manufacturers through the process of developing their Information Systems architecture based on business requirements, I can help companies avoid the pitfalls that many others have experienced and ultimately deliver a user-friendly, maintainable system that provides the right data to the right people at the right time.
