Responsibilities include working with 8 member executive committee and 500 member society to plan strategic programmes to facilitate the UCT student body in contributing to the Millennium Development Goals of the UN. • February 2012: UNASA-UCT doubled subscriptions from 240 in 2011 to 500 in 2012. • April 2012: Initiated a partnership with Japan Africa, resulted in four UNASA-UCT members being chosen to participate in the Master Brain World Cup in Tokyo. • July 2012: Organized inaugural Diplomacy Course at the University of Cape Town. Attended by 100 delegates. • September 2012: UNASA-UCT Executive & MUN committee hosted biggest university-level Model UN conference in South Africa.
