💼 Past Experience

Supreme Kim Nguyen:I am currently a Supreme New Yorker intern from September 2016 to January 2017. I have worked in several positions at Études, including as aRTW intern from August 2016 to October 2016 and as an SHOE DESIGN intern from February 2017 to October 2017. My experiences as a shoe designer have included working at Marc Jacobs, where I created shoes for the company from January 2015 to July 2015. Additionally, I have been a DESIGN intern at Supreme New York from October 2017 to August 2019. My goals are to gain experience and learn more about the industry and to eventually become a professional designer.

🎓 Education

By Kim NguyenBorn and raised in Hong Kong, Kim Nguyen began her education in her home country at the age of 5. After completing her elementary and secondary school education, she reunited with her family and attended the Hong Kong School of Arts and Crafts, where she earned her BFA in Fashion/Apparel Design in 2015.Later that year, she moved to Italy to continue her education at the University of Houston, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion/Apparel Design in 2012. Upon completion of her education, Nguyen moved to Poland to continue her education at the Polimoda fashion school, where she later earned her Master of Fine Arts (MFE) in International Fashion Design.While still in Poland, Nguyen met and began working with designers Enrico Spinelli and Maya Angelou. After experiencing the beauty of Judaism and Christianity living large in the city of Poznan, she decided to move to Israel to study Carmelite nuns and their way of life. After completing her studies at the seminary in Jerusalem, she moved back to the United States to work as an assistant Designer at J.Crew, where she also met her future husband, Breda.Eventually, they decided to move to Israel with their two children, and Kim Nguyen became a fashion instructor and principal at the Carmelite nunnery, starting her own business. She currently teaches students in her own business, Kim Nguyen's Clothing, while also working as a consultant to the fashion industry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and spending time navigating her career path.In her words, "My education has taught me how to be a professional in the fashion industry. my most recent instructors have given me the knowledge and techniques to handle any project, be it a fashion show or a Domestic garment; they have also helped me develop my fashion sense and Louis Vuitton-like abandoned techniques."
