Additionally, I orchestrated the marketing initiatives of Smith & Wollensky restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Montreal, New York City, and Key West. I also developed the restaurant marketing strategy for Smith & Wollensky’s Atlantic City Paramus, NJ hospitality venues.""I have over 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry and I have combined that experience with my post-graduate degree in food science to develop marketing Strategies for Smith & Wollensky restaurants. - MA in English Literature from Harvard University in 1990- PhD in English Literature from University of Texas at Austin in 1995Before her current position as an English professor at the University of Texas at Austin, Lapine held a number of teaching positions, including twelve years as a professor of writing at Bradley University. Lapine's extensive academic experience allows her to provide teaching and writing material that is both challenging and accessible to her students. Her assigned topics, which pertain to both contemporary and older literature, have been implemented successfully intoBradley's curriculum. Lapine has frequently traveled throughout the United States, England, and Canada as a Fulbright Scholar and has taught at a number of seminaries and universities. Many of her students have become well-known writers, including winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Best American Poetry, editor of the Best American Poetry, and author of several collections of poetry.
