My main role as a Unit Director was to supervise staff members ranging from six to ten employees during yearly afterschool and summer camp programs. With my role as a Unit Director I was held responsible for completing all new hire obligations for staff members including but not limited to recruiting, interviewing, training, and promoting. I received an additional leadership role with Boys and Girls Clubs when I became the Volunteer Coordinator for the organization. I recruited and trained volunteers as well as submitted letters of recommendation upon completion volunteerism. One of the most exciting components of my role was fundraising. During the school year 2011, I successful raised over $5,000 for the Chapman Elementary Boys and Girls Club. From August 2010 to July 2012 (2 years) Leasing Consultant @ Bell Partners Inc With two years of leasing experience I performed duties such as providing information about apartments and communities and the local Charlotte, North Carolina area to prospective residents. I was responsible for leasing apartments at an acceptable percentage determined by the property management company. I utilized communication devices such as computer, fax, etc. to effectively manage a high volume leasing office. I also supported the overall marketing efforts and offers based on the requirements of the property management company. My strong customer service skills allowed me to relate to residents and prospective residents as well as work with vendors and a diverse leasing staff.
