📖 Summary
As the CIO for Air Systems I have established a culture of innovation, where IT is more a guide in helping the business achieve it's goals. At Air Systems, innovation in not solely an IT function, rather its a shared responsibility among all the business units where we have frequent and meaningful dialog on "moving the business forward". Through this belief we are very collaborative in how technology is applied and thoughtful in how innovation is fostered. I have over 16 years of experience driving IT innovation and believe IT can be leveraged to engage, enable and empower an organization and its employees. I am very passionate about creating organizational efficiencies through technology and engaging those that have a desire to do their jobs "better, faster and smarter" - in other words - I excel at improving business operations through the thoughtful application of technology I have been recognized for my Leadership and have been asked to speak as a Thought Leader on the topic of Millennial Engagement by both SearchCIO and The Economist (video below). Outside of Air Systems I serve as a Board Member to the CIO Scholarship Fund, whose mission is to foster future IT leaders by providing financial and mentoring resources to local college students pursuing degrees in Technology. Additionally, I help facilitate a group of peers called the IT Director's Community of Practice, where we meet monthly and provide career development resources in preparing them for their next career move. In both of these endeavors I find these highly rewarding in being able to help provide guidance. I have spoken at many events for San Jose State University, The Economist, and ConstrucTech Magazine, and have shared my thoughts on disruptive technologies within Construction such as using Drones on CNBCAdjunct Instructor/Professor @ From October 2015 to Present (3 months) Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Enterprise Learning & Development @ From March 2006 to Present (9 years 10 months) Business Development @ From November 2008 to Present (7 years 2 months) Board Member @ From 2011 to Present (4 years) Global Network and Infrastructure Manager @ Held a senior role in the corporate IT group that helped shape the Global IT Strategy spanning divisions in North America, Europe and Asia.
