WSA was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Hollywood, California. Over the past 8 years, Kevin has been responsible for expanding Writing Sessions America’s operations to include over 50criptions and distribution in 27 states across the US and Puerto Rico. Kevin Shine remains self-taught in both theater and production. He began his professional directing and production career at Columbia College Chicago in 2002. He has since directed over 100 productions, including a sold-out run of "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Apollo Theater. Shine has also appeared in independent and major theatrical releases, including "The Help" and " Apollo 13 ". In the spring of 2018, Shine was part of the Directing Team for the world premiere of Neil Slade's Academy Award-nominated play "Theットームズ".Kevin Shine is currently based out of New York City and is working on his first play, middle grade mystery novel, and story idea for a stage adaptation of "Jesus Christ Superstar" for Broadway.
