Consultant @ Booz Allen Hamilton From August 2015 to July 2016 (1 year) Washington D.C. Metro AreaAssociate @ Booz Allen Hamilton Civil Commercial Market - Treasury, Regulators, Banks, and Energy Washington D.C. Metro AreaSenior Consultant @ Booz Allen Hamilton Civil Commercial Market - Treasury, Regulators, Banks, and Energy From July 2016 to June 2018 (2 years) Washington D.C. Metro AreaOwner @ Virtual Currency Shop I discovered and exploited a niche market segment in the virtual currency market pertaining to the flipping and trading of primarily game currencies (BTC and game currencies). Through my years I have gained and furthered my deep knowledge of the entire process of how a customer would initially find, obtain, and profit from these currencies; while facilitating the entire process. I have also learned first hand of how to maximize my margins by leveraging human capital, operational efficiency(vertical integration), branding strategies, competitive risk, predictive analytics, and more. My business utilized nearly every payment processor globally for cashing these virtual currencies into traditional global currencies. This gave me valuable insights of how certain virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc can create solutions to address transaction friction. I also have years of experience in the iGaming industry over a wide range of offering types. - Created my own currency exchange/ currency trading business by utilizing the economies of multiple MMORPGs/RPGs and have five employees, with total revenue surpassing $500,000 USD annually. - Achieved year over year growth of 310%. - Achieved consistent 25-37% profit margins(variance accounts for year to year changes in operations and process re-engineering implemented).- Consulted for the sale of various virtual items/currencies.- Dealt with 50-100 customers per day from across the world and assisted them in navigating market of virtual items. I have also been an early investor the many cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, XRP, and many others since 2015. The focus of my portfolio is around decentralized exchanges, public/private chain oracles, IGaming/Gambling platforms, and more... Operation & Technology Intern @ Fannie Mae - Utilized PuTTy to install SFTP Applications (Connect Direct, Synchrony Gateway Interchange, Connect File Transfer) and configured each activator to hubs.- Trained two new contractors on the FLEX Team to bring them up to speed with protocols and access controls.- Became day primary by using Remedy for incident and change tickets pertaining to traffic flow issues with the various file transferring applications. From June 2014 to August 2014 (3 months) RestonStrategic Innovation Group Extern @ Booz Allen Hamilton Invited and won 1st place in Data Science Challenge by mining twitter hashtags using Tweepy Twitter API and then performing sentiment analysis with Gensim to compile live customer feedback (#Dcmetro). We then proposed to senior leadership how crossing sentiment data with geographical layout of the DC metro system and historic weather data provided predictive strategies for increased revenue, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Finally, I utilized this data to illustrate how commercial markets such as retail, entertainment, travel, and finance could also benefit from a management and operational standpoint. My team also participated in designing a mobile application that would become a one stop financial services app. We studied and incorporated functionalities from the mobile experiences of Bank of America, Paypal, Zillow, and Turbotax to create a synergized customer experience. Lastly we were tasked to design a desktop site for a public school system to allow parents to easily keep track of their child's grades/progress. By incorporating agile methodologies we were able to design front/back-end frameworks, use cases (Storyboarding), and a pilot strategy to be implemented throughout the entire school system.
