Background:Kevin Bethune was born in 1980. He grew up in a nuclear family and worked his way up in the professional world. He has worked in a number of different positions, from low-level grunt work to beingVox’s Senior Director of Photography. He then went on to create his own company, designing and manufacturing products for other companies.After several years of design work, Kevin Bethune decided to start his own company. He named it “dreams • design + life” and started working on starting their own business. He and his team designed products for other businesses, but it wasn’t until he started working with Nike that he really hit his stride. He was hired as their CCO, and he helped shape Nike’s strategy and design. He also served as their author, writing a book on the topic of design.anny carter:What inspired you to start your own company?After working as an Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, I decided to start my own company. I named my company Dreams • design + life and started designing and manufacturing products. I was really inspired by the Nike example where they never stopped going above and beyond to improve the product.

Kevin Bethune has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Design from Art Center College of Design in October 2022. He also has a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Notre Dame in October 1994. Kevin Bethune is currently a Tepper School of Business student at Carnegie Mellon University.

Kevin Bethune is best known for his work as a Founder and CCO at dreams • design + life, where he was responsible for creating, designing, and Implementing products and services. In his previous roles, Kevin has been a creative and technical lead within the design and innovation team at Keevo, occupying various positions such as Process Innovation Manager - Global Product and Financial Manager.
